A Message from Our CEO on COVID-19
I would like to share some of the actions we at Lifeline are taking to help protect our employees and clients as the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread throughout the world.
I wanted to keep you up to date with how we at Lifeline are prepared to help.
- We consider you family. The health and well-being of your staff is just as important as the health and well-being of our own.
- We have a model that allows a distributed workforce. This is already in place, and actively in use. At this point, we don’t plan on any disruption of the services we provide your organization.
- We will continue to have our staff onsite at your organization as necessary, when the work cannot be done remotely. However, we will be stopping all proactive onsite visits effective 16Mar until further notice.
- We will be utilizing technology like WebEx to conduct remote meetings that would have previously been done in person. We’re happy to help you do the same.
- We have a network of CEO’s in the same industry that we have been in constant communication with regarding best practices and preparedness on this topic. We feel we are well positioned to respond to potential disruptive events, quickly and efficiently and we will continue to build this capacity.
- We are here to ensure we do everything we can to help you and your staff during this time of rapid change…allowing your businesses to operate as close to normal as possible.
- We are here to communicate with you as there are new developments.
- We are here to help. If your need staff to work remotely, you need to make other operational adjustments, or have questions about business continuity, please use this link to send in a request on this subject, and we can discuss further.
- We have seen a 2x increase in data breach attempts since the onset of COVID-19. Please remember Cybercriminals take advantage of people, and even more so in times like this. They know a large percentage of people are shifting to a remote workforce, and they will leverage this. Please be on alert.
- We will continue to closely monitor the situation through the experts at the WHO, CDC, etc.
We are all in this together. We are a community. We Are Lifeline.
“It is how we embrace the uncertainty in our lives that leads to the greatest transformations of our souls” -Brandon A. Trean
Sincerely Yours,
Micah Shanks
